  • MICR line (bottom of the cheque)
  • IFSC code (optional)

  • Amount (optional)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Signature (optional)

Ticked fields are covered as soon as your file opens. Tick or untick any of them, or draw a box over anything else.

How it works

  1. Drop a photo, scan or PDF of your cheque above.
  2. Its text is read on your device, and the fields you ticked are covered with solid boxes.
  3. Check the result, then download a safe copy. The file is checked again for anything still readable.

Questions

Should I hide the account number on a cancelled cheque?

Only if the recipient doesn't need it. A cancelled cheque is often shared to prove the account, so hide what they don't need, such as the MICR line or your signature.

Can it hide my signature?

Yes. Tick Signature and it covers the ink next to labels like Please sign above or Authorised Signatory. If it isn't found, draw a box over it with the redact tool.
