Questions
What should I hide on a ration card used as address proof?
Usually the card number, any Aadhaar numbers and the phone number. Keep the head of family's name and the address visible, since that is what the proof is for.
Will it read the Hindi or regional-language text on my card?
No. Text recognition reads English, so numbers and English labels are found but text in Hindi, Tamil or other scripts is not. Draw a box over anything in those parts that you want hidden.
