Questions
What should I hide before sending property papers to a broker or buyer?
Usually the PAN and Aadhaar numbers, phone numbers, photos and signatures of the people named in the deed. The property description and owner names often need to stay visible so the other side can check the title.
My deed is 30 pages. Will every page be checked?
Yes, PDFs of up to 50 pages are read page by page. Text in Hindi or other regional scripts isn't read, so draw boxes over anything in those parts that you want hidden.
Does it find signatures and thumb impressions?
It covers signatures next to a printed Signature label. Thumb impressions and signatures without a label aren't found automatically, so draw a box over them.
