How to blur part of an image
- Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP image above, or paste one with Ctrl+V.
- Faces and sensitive text are found automatically. Accept the ones to blur.
- Drag a box over anything else: a number plate, a house number, a background.
- Set the blur strength and download the image.
Blur exactly what you choose
Draw as many boxes as you like, move and resize them, and undo anything. Switch to Pixelate for a mosaic look or Solid for a plain block.
The exported image is a fresh file, so camera details and location (EXIF data) are removed as well.
Private by design
Your file is opened, read and exported inside your browser tab. It is never uploaded, so nobody (including us) can see it.
Questions
Which image formats work?

Does it remove location data?
Yes. The exported image is re-encoded from pixels, so EXIF data such as GPS location and camera model is dropped.
