How to pixelate part of an image

  1. Drop the image above.
  2. Accept detected faces and text, or drag boxes over the areas to pixelate.
  3. Set the strength: bigger blocks hide more.
  4. Download the pixelated image.

Pixelate, blur or block

Pixelation replaces an area with large colored blocks. With a high strength it hides faces and text well; at low strength, text can sometimes still be guessed. For numbers and short text, the Solid style is the safest choice.

Private by design

Your file is opened, read and exported inside your browser tab. It is never uploaded, so nobody (including us) can see it.

Questions

Can pixelation be reversed?

Strong pixelation of faces is hard to reverse, but short text can sometimes be guessed. Use Solid for numbers.
