How to censor a screenshot
- Paste the screenshot with Ctrl+V or drop it above.
- Accept the highlighted details, or drag boxes over anything to censor.
- Pick a box color, preview with P, and download.
Censor bars that stay censored
Solid boxes are burned into the pixels of the exported image, so there is no layer to remove and nothing to un-blur. It's the safest way to hide short text like phone numbers, order IDs and OTPs.
Private by design
Your file is opened, read and exported inside your browser tab. It is never uploaded, so nobody (including us) can see it.
Questions
What's the difference between censoring and blurring?
Censoring with solid boxes removes the content completely. Blur hides it softly but short text can sometimes be guessed.
